This week there is a Stadium Authority meeting and a special Council meeting.

Stadium Authority:

• Study Session on the proposed Santa Clara Stadium Authority Fiscal Year 2019/20 Budget.

• Study Session on the Draft 2019 Non-NFL Events Marketing Plan for Levi’s Stadium. The Stadium Authority Board has to approve the marketing plan for events. They can give it a thumbs up — or thumbs down. Last time they discussed this, 49ers executive Jim Mercurio said they schedule events that don’t make money because of SBL ticketholders.  Let’s see if the council allows that this time.

Special Council Meeting:

Closed session to discuss existing litigation — Gaffney, et al. v. City of Santa Clara, United States District Court, Northern District of California Case No. 5:18-cv-6500-NC. We don’t have much info on this except that it involves “Labor: Fair Standards.”
