Tomorrow’s City Council meeting includes a closed session regarding the lawsuit against the City filed by the 49ers.

Here’s a quick summary of the items for the meeting:            

• During closed session, the Council will discuss the 49ers’ lawsuit against the City. It’s about breach of contract and demand for documents. It’s Santa Clara County Superior Court Case No. 18CV326430. 
• A study session will be held on the Patrick Henry Specific Plan, Freedom Circle Specific Plan and City North Vision Plan. All three are specific to the City’s Northside.
• A public hearing for setting the per-acre land values and parkland in lieu fee schedule for new residential development will be continued to May 21, 2019.
• Anna Warren Cebrian, the owner of Illusive Comics & Games will be recognized by the Council. Cebrian has built up a very popular and welcoming store in the Franklin Square that has garnered several awards. The store hosts many community events as well. Kudos to the City for recognizing her.
• More discussion on the governance model for a Convention-Visitors Bureau (CVB) — which was formerly tied to the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce.
• A discussion on illegal street racing and sideshow activities. This was requested by Councilmember Kathy Watanabe.
