We got an interesting tip from a loyal reader about a fun story about a “People Map.” It identifies the person in a city who is the most searched on Wikipedia. They could have been born in the city. They could also have lived or be connected to the city in some way.
Guess who’s Santa Clara’s most “searched” person? For those of you who guessed Dominic Caserta or Jed York or Reuben Foster, you struck out.
It’s Liza Soberano. She’s a 21-year-old Filipino-American actress who was born in the Mission City. She has dual citizenship in the U.S. and the Philippines. Soberano has starred in a lot of television series and films:

I’m surprised it wasn’t Mark Spitz, the most successful Olympian at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
