There’s good news for the Mission City coming in the way of new federal dollars, about $26 million of it.
According to Congressman Ro Khanna, “The American Rescue Plan will bring over $1 billion for counties and cities in our district — an unprecedented amount of financial investment.”
Khanna’s office broke down the funding this way:
It will be interesting to see if the Council majority that voted to cut police services will now reconsider. The spotlight for reconsideration will be on Councilmembers Karen Hardy, Raj Chahal, Suds Jain and Kevin Park.
