Councilmember Suds Jain is requesting to place an agenda item at a future Council meeting to discuss making the Youth Soccer Park Parking Lot available to the 49ers. Jain says this would be when there are no events at the Youth Soccer Park. This sounds a lot like the first step in the 49ers’ attempt to take the park years ago. Stand Up for Santa Clara was created in response and stopped the effort. Let’s see if history repeats itself.
Tomorrow’s special Council meeting also features a lot of other items.

This is going to be interesting. The 49ers have made so many mistakes in how they have decided to try and manage their relationship with our City.
I know it is strange, but try to imagine how you might look at the world if you felt entitled to everything you could see.
Our City, was never based on entitlement. In fact we are the exact opposite of that. Our Cities is born out of Immigrants and Mission workers.
Ever met an Immigrant or Mission worker who felt entitled? No….me neither.
As I said, this is going to be interesting.
Last time this came my way, I got a chance to see just what a great City I grew up and live in.
The neighbors I know are not afraid to roll up our sleeves and go to work.
We are not an entitled City, never have, never will.

Simple answer, we were fools. We believed a man, who turns out to be a liar. Sad fact he is not even a good liar.

Do you know the difference between ignorance and stupidity?
One is temporary.
Also, why do you keep focusing on the past? The past is ……the past. It’s also the one thing no one can change. So why do you focus on it so much?
Everyone makes mistakes. I think I have publicly admitted to that mistake, time and again. How many more times more do you want me to own it?
By the way, you no longer live in the City, so none of this should be any of your concern, at least try and respect the fact that I still do. I can promise you this Byron, if you lived here, and I had moved on, I would still be supporting you as best as I could.
I know for sure I would not be taking apart your post and trying to offer a history lesson.
By the way, the first settlers in the valley were Immigrants and our city’s nickname is The Mission City for a pretty good reason, hope that makes sense.

Anyone who feels the need to advertise their seat on a board – especially a neighborhood association, is a real warning sign about that personality. It’s a volunteer position for the betterment of the community. It is not a source of power or authority that allows someone to believe they have a louder voice in the room. Unfortunately however, pride, self importance, and general selfishness is what motivates most neighborhood association members to these positions – not the betterment of the community.
If you’re going to serve the community -great! But do it quietly like the adults in the room.

BOYCOTT 49er GEAR!
Dear Community,
Since the 49ers tried to steal the Childrens Soccer Park before, I stopped buying anything related to the Team.
Now that this new push to remove the Soccer Fields from the Children – AGAIN, I am sorry I put the Steal up on the Stadium.
As a Community Leader in East San Jose, I will urge everyone I come in contact with to stop purchasing Tickets and 49er personal clothing.
I will do my best to support the Dedicated Youth Soccer Teams at that Lication.
There was a Young Lady that lived in East San Jose near Story Road and Capitol Expressway.
She would ride the Light Rail to the Stadium.
She went on to be a Scholarship Student on Massachusetts D-3 Championship Team.
That is how important that Youth Facikity is.
It is sad how the 49ers is acting and it is truly sad how the Councilmember is acting for 30 pieces od Silver.
Thar is my opinion.
