The National Weather Service forecasts rainy and windy weather today through Thursday, March 29.
Some City facilities are being used as Respite /Warming Locations during regular operating hours.
Those in need of respite from the rain can visit PrepareSCC.org/ColdWeather for a list of Respite/Warming Center locations in the County, including Santa Clara.
Here’s a list of the Respite/Warming Locations in Santa Clara:
- Santa Clara Senior Center (1303 Fremont St.),
- Community Recreation Center (969 Kiely Blvd.),
- Central Park Library (2635 Homestead Rd.),
- Mission Branch Library (1098 Lexington St.), and
- Northside Branch Library (695 Moreland Wy.).
These locations will be open on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., except for Central Park Library, which will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

It isn’t going to get all that cold tonight, but if I were I would hope there would be someplace warm after 7PM. That’s when it starts getting cold.
