The 41st annual Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival was held this past weekend.
Beer and wine was flowing, vendors were busy and local non-profit food booths had long lines. Live music was resonating in the pavilion with plenty of dancing.
The City hasn’t released attendance numbers, but we can say this was the busiest Festival we’ve seen in some time.

Too much goose poop and pinfeathers on the grounds. Not a fault of staff but admin planning.
A paucity of P&R hospitality staff for assistance to vendors. The staff we met with were friendly and helpful. Especially Ray, who remembered me from prior SCAW festivals. We enjoyed the fabulous morning coffee and muffin service and the attendants were excellent representatives of Santa Clara. As a vendor, I didn’t get around much, but I wish I had. The energy was up and exciting. It was easy to feel the happiness of the crowd. And of course (except for the goose poop) the grounds and greenery make a lovely setting for the fair and setting its tone.
I did not go last year but went this year for the first time since before the pandemic and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the festival.
One of the most beautiful experiences in Santa Clara. Went Saturday… so many wonderful people. Truly, heaven in our Central Park.
