The Mission City has a fabled history of excellence in sports. So it’s no wonder Santa Clara hosts several year-round sports and entertainment options.
A lightly traveled industrial area off of Bowers features a variety of sports-minded and family-friendly businesses:
K1 Speed
2925 Meade Avenue

While these all-electric go-karts aren’t Lamborghinis, they are lightweight, smooth-handling and a lot of fun. The Santa Clara location isn’t as large as some of the sister locations elsewhere, but the racing is speedy and great for a quick thrill. It’s enjoyable for the novice or the seasoned car aficionado or gearhead. It’s also a neat and unique option for birthday parties or company outings. Don’t be shocked if you see me getting in a race or two. Kids 48” or taller drive the “junior karts.”
Sky High Sports
2880 Meade Avenue
(408) 496-5867

The giant trampolines and ball pits are popular with children and young adults, but they provide an entertaining way to let loose and get in a workout for all ages. The facility also has dodgeball and kids programs.
All Star Academy
2901 Meade Avenue

All Star Academy is the place to swing a bat. They also offer lessons for baseball and softball players of all ages and skills and offer batting cage rentals.
