49ers cornerback Richard Sherman did something nice this week that we should thank him for.

Sherman hand-delivered a check to Cabrillo Middle School’s Principal Stan Garber for the school’s outstanding cafeteria debt.  

The $7,000 check is from Blanket Coverage – The Richard Sherman Family Foundation. It’ll help eliminate past student lunch debt. The school did not say how many students it will help or for how long.
