Santa Clara Cleanup Campaign is Back, Starting on August 10

By Robert Haugh

The annual cleanup is back. It wasn’t gone for long.

In April, the City announced that it had been canceled or postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the City has announced that it’s back on from August 10 to September 4.

It’s one of the best benefits of living in Santa Clara and really popular with Mission City residents.

Get your old furniture and large items ready to be cleaned out.

Editor’s Note: Old issues of the Santa Clara Weekly can be put in regular recycling or trash bins.

  1. Oh well. I guess my neighborhood will be looking like Beirut circa 1982 after all.

  2. Thanks so much. We’ve had plenty of time to clean out our homes garages and yards and for Anthony Becker to clean out his car.

    • My car?? lol boy you guys really like to be bullies and petty

  3. Glad this is back
Many many residents have been asking me or saying they contacted council members when it is happening. I even asked the Mayor this past weekend.
This is a great tradition that residents pay for
    Our trash is another’s treasure

    Great job Santa Clara !

    • You remind me of Sgt. Shultz, Anthony. You know nothing. Chalk up another one for Anthony. Hindsight is 2020. 0-3!
