We previously reported that the COVID-19 testing at Central Park Library would require people to show up to get an appointment.
The County apparently put out incorrect info.
As of Sunday, August 9, you have to schedule an appointment for the testing.
You can do so from a mobile device or computer. But you’ll need a web browser other than Internet Explorer.
Other testing dates for the Central Park Library will be August 26, September 23 and September 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Appointments open for scheduling three days before the testing date.
Testing is free and no insurance is required. But you should be asymptomatic.
According to the County Department of Public Health, test results should be available in three to seven days.
