Santa Clara residents now have another choice to get a COVID-19 vaccine nearby. 

Walmart announced recently that 137 of its California pharmacies will offer the vaccine. That includes the one at 4080 Stevens Creek Boulevard, on the Santa Clara and San Jose border.

Walmart has set up an online scheduler and is accepting appointments now.  

However, the company did not say how much of the vaccine they have available. The County has had difficulty getting a sufficient number of vaccines from the State.

Appointments at participating Sam’s Club stores can be made here.

“In addition to appointments, the scheduler will provide a digital reminder when it is time to return for the second vaccine, helping ensure customers receive their second dose in the timeframe required,” Walmart said in a news release. 

“You do not have to be a member of Sam’s Club to sign-up for an appointment. Appointments are available seven days a week, but exact timing will vary based on local availability of the vaccine.”
