Mission City Community Fund Changes Annual Dinner Event to Golf Social

By Robert Haugh

The Mission City Community Fund (MCCF) Annual Dinner is one of the biggest and best-attended events of the year in Santa Clara. But it won’t be held this year due to the pandemic. Organizers are concerned about large indoor public gatherings.

Instead of a dinner, dance, and auction, there will be a golf social and lunch on Thursday, October 21 at the Pruneridge Golf Course.

The MCCF will have a silent auction after the golfing for  “some great golf packages exclusive to Bay Area golf courses as well as a ton of other valuable prizes,” according to MCCF event organizers.

You can get more information at the MCCF website about the organization and the event.

  1. Couldn’t they have the indoor event and just give some Emmy awards? That seems to be as effective as masks and vaccines.
