Tonight will be the only face-to-face debate in our Santa Clara city elections.
The San Jose/Santa Clara League of Women Voters will host an in-person candidates forum in the Santa Clara City Hall Council Chambers.
The event will be recorded and live-streamed, too, on Facebook and YouTube.
Here’s the schedule:
City of Santa Clara Council District 2 – 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Larry McColloch, Raj Chahal
City of Santa Clara Council District 3 – 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.
Karen Hardy, Christian Pellecchia
City of Santa Clara Mayor – 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
Lisa Gillmor, Anthony Becker

Pellecchia could not even muster the effort to show up in person. Pretty weak. Now that the pandemic is winding down the time has come to not allow zoom meetings. Show up in person or keep your mouth shut.
He was away at a business function that was booked well before the forum. It was disclosed at the beginning of the debate with he and Hardy.
