Librarypalooza is an annual fundraising event organized by The Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends.
The event is aimed at raising funds to support the Santa Clara City Libraries and to promote lifelong learning in Silicon Valley.
The fundraiser features a raffle, silent auction, and live auction, with donations welcomed from those who wish to contribute.
This year’s theme, “The Roaring 20s: Read and Speak Easy,” pays homage to the literary giants of the 1920s, including Nella Larsen, William Faulkner, Langston Hughes, Gertrude Stein, Zora Neale Hurston, and F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald.
In addition to the festivities, the event also recognizes the valuable contributions of Crystal and Don Scheel, long-time volunteers who have played a significant role in organizing book sales.
Librarypalooza 2023 will be held at the Central Park Library, located at 2635 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara, 95051, on Saturday, April 29, 2023, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Here’s the website for the event registration and tickets.
