Last Friday, the Mission City celebrated Pride Month by raising the Progress Pride rainbow flag at City Hall. This was the seventh annual LGBTQIA+ Pride Flag Raising ceremony.

Mayor Lisa Gillmor, State Assemblymember Evan Low, BAYMEC Community Foundation President and former County Supervisor Ken Yeager, Billy DeFrank Center’s Gabriella Antolovich and indicted Councilmember Anthony Becker spoke at the event. All members of the City Council except Karen Hardy were on-hand for the ceremony.
