Santa Clara’s Tallest Towers Under Construction in Tasman East Area

By Robert Haugh

Construction has topped out for 2300 Calle De Luna, two towers that will become Santa Clara’s tallest structures.

The complex will also include 700 apartments, shops, and a park.

The towers developed by The Related Companies will rise 23 stories, approximately 238 feet and 219 feet.

They will be clad in glass and concrete, with cantilevered amenity decks and triangular terraces. A stone base will anchor the podium and will include retail space.

The development will also include 191 senior housing units and a half-acre park. It’s expected to be completed in 2024.

The towers are part of the Tasman East Specific Plan. The plan calls for the development of 4,500 residential units, 100,000 square feet of retail space, a grocery store, a school, and a park.

Related is also developing on the former Santa Clara golf course across the street. It’s a $8 billion mixed-use project with 5 million square feet of office space, 1,680 apartments, a 700-room hotel, retail, entertainment, and a 30-acre park.

  1. Santa Clara”s tallest building has excellent view of the 49er practice field. Ram’s and Seahawks should lease a unit now before they’re all gone.
