Santa Clara’s La Casa Mia Restaurant Featured on KQED’s Check Please

By Robert Haugh

Last night on KQED’s Check Please restaurant show, Santa Clara’s La Casa Mia was one of the featured restaurants.

It’s a Japanese American family-owned restaurant located at 3548 Homestead Road, Santa Clara that serves Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine.

According to La Casa Mia’s website, “Our dishes replicate the delicious Japanese style of Italian food that is so rare to find outside Japan.”

The reviews on last night’s show were outstanding.

La Casa Mia appears to have a variety of interesting and delicious dishes and a casual but fun atmosphere.

The diners raved about some of the savory dishes like these:

“I took a lot of the recipes that I really was craving and put an American twist to it,” said Erika Ozawa.

If you missed the show on KQED, you can watch it on YouTube. Or you can visit the restaurant yourself and let Santa Clara News Online know how you liked it.
