The Santa Clara City Clerk race is still too close to call.
But after yesterday’s ballot count, there’s been a change in the race.
Bob O’Keefe still leads the pack with 31 percent. But Poornima Gopi has passed Steve Kelly to move into second place. They both have approximately 27 percent of the vote.
Paul Tacci trails with 15 percent.
The Registrar of Voters will provide an update Friday at 5 pm for all city and county elections on their website.
Approximately 233,000 ballots still need to be counted countywide.
