Tomorrow’s Council meeting has a very brief agenda.
Here are the agendized items:
- Closed session – Initiation of litigation (no information provided).
- Action on a Resolution Suspending Existing All-Electric Construction Requirements of the Reach Code and Request for Direction on Needed Amendments to the Reach Code and Climate Action Plan in Light of Recent Changes in Applicable Law
- Action on Annual Appointment of Vice Mayor and Chaplain
- Action on Appointments to City Committees and Outside Agency Committees for the 2025 Calendar Year and Approve Clarification of the Role of the Audit Committee and Approve the Revision of the former Economic Development, Marketing and Communications Committee to the Economic Development and Marketing Committee (Ad Hoc)

Apparently our malevolent City Council addressed a “Resolution Suspending Existing All-Electric Construction Requirements.”
Council persons Suds and Park seems to push for “all electric.” Dummies. Does Suds and Park articulate a PLAN to ensure our power lines do NOT cause WILDFIRES like in SoCal? Nada. Suds and Park are political dupes.
With the horrendous governmental mismanagement that fueled the calamity in SoCal, even local bureaucrats, like bureaucrat “Reena Brilliot,” who rakes in $343,000 (!) per year on the backs of Santa Clarans, recommends a “policy [that] would also require electric infrastructure to be built into new construction regardless of whether gas appliances are also used.”
Great. Politicians are pushing us to destroy our city with higher costs and risks of electrical-based wildfires.
Remember the name “Reena Brilliot.” And it will not be a good memory.

Way to go Kelly! I’m hoping for a positive year but as of today Albert Gonzalez hasn’t reached out to any of the leaders in district 1! He must be to busy meeting with the 49er five!
If Gonzalez met with constituents and walk neighborhoods, he would know the leaders. But hey! He had 49ers blessing and colluded with Harbir Bhatia to split the Indian vote. Albert Gonzalez is a one hit wonder.
This is what happens when people don’t read the fine line or pay attention.
Gonzalez doesn’t know how.
He didn’t campaign. Never saw
signs. No one knows who he is!
But it’s not necessary
when 49ers got your back.
With Kelly as Vice Mayor, things are already beginning to look up for our city.
I have 100% confidence in Kelly as I know how seriously she takes this and how much she cares about our city!
Way to start the new administration! The power of working hard for what you want without Jed York backing you. Right Albert Gonzalez? That’s why you’ll never be the VM.
So who’s the chaplain? Wudda’ been Becker if he won. 😂 But he’s on standby waiting for his next big day in Court. 18 days but who is counting?
