The City  is offering Below Market Rate (BMR) homes for purchase, with the Pre-Application period extended until February 21, 2025.

The homes, recently built by Taylor Morrison, are located at 3041, 3051, and 3045 El Camino Real. They include 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom townhomes, available for Low-income and Moderate-Income households.

Currently, two 3-bedroom units are available in buildings 3051 and 3045 El Camino Real. These homes are being offered at different prices, targeting varying income levels.

The Pre-Application period is now open. Interested buyers must submit a pre-application by the new deadline of February 21, 2025, to be considered for the application lottery.

To apply, homebuyers must first obtain a mortgage pre-qualification letter from a residential mortgage lender. The letter must reflect the purchase price of the unit. Letters older than six months, or that do not match the unit’s purchase price, will not be accepted.

The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhomes offer 1,784 square feet of living space. Each unit includes a 2-car tandem garage, a private balcony, and an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. These homes are designed with modern features and ample living space.

The BMR homes are intended to provide affordable options for residents in the Santa Clara area. The homes’ prices vary based on income eligibility, and applicants will be required to meet specific criteria to be considered for purchase.
