On Thursday, April 3, 2025, the Santa Clara City Council will hold its annual City Council Priority Setting Session to discuss and finalize the top priorities and initiatives for the coming year.
These directives will guide the city’s policy decisions and influence how resources are allocated throughout 2025.
- When: Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Where: Central Park Library – Redwood Room, 2635 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara, CA
For those who cannot join in person, the session will be livestreamed on the City’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, and participants can also log in via Zoom. The meeting agenda will be posted on the City’s public meetings webpage.

First priority is to stop already with all the ruinous high density housing. If people can’t afford to live in certain cities, then move on. They’re trashing the City of Santa Clara.

Sometimes, just a pure and simple “Thank You” goes a long ways.
Just so you know, for yesterdays’s April Fools joke, I had a cute response all typed out. I just had a hard time with my Home Town being the “Punchline” to any joke…. again.
As Santa Clara residents, we need to do better, when it comes time to getting our City Back.
Somehow good people like Teresa O’Neil, David Kertes, and Satish (Sunny) Chandra could not beat the 49ers chosen “Sock Puppets”.
Next Election, let’s all promise to do better. I’m very proud of Kelly Cox, and she now represents the District next to me.
Also time to give Props to our Mayor.
Very few know just how hard our Mayor worked to educate the residents. She was out there almost every day walking the different Districts. Many days the temperature was over 100 degrees, and yet there she was walking, knocking and smiling, all in hopes of educating any and all residents willing to listen to her.
I’m not impressed easily, but our Mayor impressed me with her commitment to our City. Apparently she needed a little bit more help.
Either this is important, or it’s not. We can’t expect others to do this for us, we need to take some ownership to right this wrong.
Thank God we still have the Elected Chief of Police!!
