Santa Clara Northside Police Substation Reopens

By Robert Haugh

The Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) celebrated the grand re-opening of the Northside Substation on April 5.

The facility had been closed since 2019. SCPD in a press release said that it’s “proud to reopen this space dedicated to serving and connecting with our community. We believe in being present, accessible, and supportive of the neighborhoods we protect, and today reminded us just how strong and united our Santa Clara community truly is.”

The substation, located at 3992 Rivermark Parkway in Rivermark Village, aims to improve police visibility and provide easier access to law enforcement services for residents on the Northside.

Community members can now do the following at the Substation:

•File police reports

•Get “fix-it” tickets signed off

•Access public safety info

•Connect directly with SCPD

Hours are Saturday through Thursday (closed Fridays) 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For more information, contact the substation at 408-615-4744.

  1. The fact that Santa Clara still has its own Police Dept. is not an accident.
We need to celebrate all that we can.
Elected Chief of Police (Fond farewell to Chief Nikolai, Warm Welcome to Chief Morgan)
Measure J. (Getting the International Swim Center back up and running)
Kelly Cox getting Elected into Office.
Let’s make a promise that in our Next Local Election we all work hard to get our City Back.
    We are worth fighting for.
Ok, a little humor here…. I just erased a long diatribe. I really want to be more positive in my life.
