Today (Friday, June 6, 2025) will be Santa Clara’s 9th Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony.
The event will take place at 11 a.m. in the Quad Area of City Hall, 1500 Warburton Avenue.
According to the City, this event will “honor diversity, inclusion, and unity within our community.”
Why such haters?? Sad.
Singling out a small percent of the community for special attention for a whole month does not promote unity, far from it.
How about a day for ‘pride’ and a month for mothers, or fathers or veterans?
Anyone that actually believes this creates unity has a very strange definition of unity.
