Santa Clara County voters can now cast their ballots for the November 4 Special Election. Every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail packet this week.
Each packet includes an official ballot, prepaid return envelope, voting instructions, and an “I Voted” sticker.
To make sure your vote counts, sign the return envelope before sending it back. Unsigned envelopes will not be accepted.
Ballots can be mailed or dropped off at any Official Ballot Drop Box.
To be counted, ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, November 4, and received by November 12.
County staff collect ballots regularly from drop boxes and deliver them directly to the Registrar of Voters for verification.
Voters are encouraged to return ballots early to avoid mail delays.

The deadline to register to vote and receive a mailed ballot is October 21. After that date, voters can still register and vote in person.
Early in-person voting begins Monday at the Registrar of Voters’ Office, 1555 Berger Drive in San Jose. Starting October 26, over two dozen Vote Centers will open across the county where voters can cast ballots, drop off mail ballots, or get help with registration.

Suds,
How much of that 20 million was already the cities money that was set aside for litigation? When the lawsuit was settled, we got money that was already ours.
Stop with the fuzzy math.
To Just the Facts: Maybe that’s what voters should have done with Measure J when the 49ers were strongly allied with Lisa Gillmor and Kathy Watanabe. Then Lisa Gillmor voted for contracts that heavily favored the 49ers. Karen Hardy and I actively campaigned against Measure J. Now that the Stadium is here, this City Council has been able to get much better contracts that have more money flowing to the general fund and sooner. Per a City’s own press release, the last settlement put $20M into the general fund over the past two years.

Suds, looks like Lisa is still renting space in your head. Everyone loves the stadium. What they don’t love is how Jed York has lied to Santa Clara, kept money from the citys coffers and put in puppets to carry his water and you Suds are the biggest water carrier of the 49er 5.
Fellow
Santa Clara Residents
It’s time for Santa Clara residents to think and plan for what is best for us, and not anyone else.
Here are 3 Questions
1. When will this treatment of our City end?
When we get control of our City Council again.
2. Why do many residents care so much about this one subject?
Many of us were lied to.
3. Do you know the difference between Ignorance and Stupidity?
One of them is temporary.
If you have any questions on any subject, just ask one simple question.
“What do the 49ers want?”
Then vote the other way.
