Santa Clara city Attorney Departure Sets up Search for Interim City Attorney 
As reported in the Mercury news, http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/01/06/santa-clara-city-attorney-ren-nosky-quits-in-the-middle-of-his-job-review/ Santa Clara’s City Attorney is departing the City’s lead legal position for a private practice. 

The city has a Council and Authorities Concurrent Special Meeting today (Monday, January 9 at 3 p.m.) regarding the search and appointment for a replacement.
The regular Council Meeting scheduled for January 10 has a myriad of items on the agenda (including a curfew extension for a speculated U2 concert in May) among other items.
