Healthy Meals Santa Clara Program Will Consolidate Food Distribution at Cabrillo, Callejon, and Wilcox Starting Today

By Robert Haugh

Starting today, the City is consolidating the locations for the Healthy Meals Santa Clara program.

This is a City effort to provide free weekend meal packages for Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) children.

The Mayor, some Councilmembers and City staff have been doing a great job distributing food since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City started this program and funded it in late May. SCUSD decided to reimburse the City.

Distributions will take place at the following three locations until further notice:

The meals will be distributed every Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

  1. Mr Cohen, I’m sure Anthony appreciates you playing the gay card for him. Perhaps that is his only remarkable attribute. I’m not concerned with his orientation, I am concerned with his resume for someone in their mid 30’s. May I remind you that this is a multibillion dollar city.
