Starting today, the City is consolidating the locations for the Healthy Meals Santa Clara program.
This is a City effort to provide free weekend meal packages for Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) children.
The Mayor, some Councilmembers and City staff have been doing a great job distributing food since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City started this program and funded it in late May. SCUSD decided to reimburse the City.
Distributions will take place at the following three locations until further notice:
- Cabrillo Middle School, 2550 Cabrillo Ave.
- Don Callejon School, 4176 Lick Mill Blvd.
- Wilcox High School, 3250 Monroe St.
The meals will be distributed every Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Mr Cohen, I’m sure Anthony appreciates you playing the gay card for him. Perhaps that is his only remarkable attribute. I’m not concerned with his orientation, I am concerned with his resume for someone in their mid 30’s. May I remind you that this is a multibillion dollar city.
