The Good — The Leg Drop Award:
No, Leg Drop Award this week. That’s a first. But not much positive has happened with the new City Council in a while.
The Bad — The Jabroni Award:
When the newest Councilmembers arrived, the meetings got longer, way longer. In fact, the City Council can’t finish it’s business during regular meetings. They are on a pace to shatter records for special meetings.
A neighborhood leader suggested, we time the comments or count the words of Councilmembers Anthony Becker, Suds Jain and Kevin Park. That might be a good idea.
But lots of late night meetings and special meetings are not a good idea. Mission City residents don’t like it because it’s inconvenient for people with families and jobs.
What do you do in a high density building or micro unit when the governor decides to have a rolling blackouts? Bake🥵 Perhaps look for a cooling center, we will need capacity for thousands. 🥵
The liberal agenda although they want super high density is not allowing for it. Increasing the population in Santa Clara by thousands puts a huge strain on our power and water resources. Facing a drought with an additional 10,000 more units and 30 to 40,000 more people strains every single resource we have including broadband.
Why, because the state wants it. I think it’s time we slow down.

staff that put in a FULL day’s work
before these marathon meetings?
They r wrking 2 jobs for God’s
sake and include Chahal who
has a motor mouth. Hardy is the
school marm
who slaps wrists and
tells people they don’t belong in SC.
