Mayor Lisa Gillmor will deliver the 2021 State of the City address virtually today at 3:30 p.m.

During the virtual event, Gillmor is expected to highlight the City’s COVID-19 relief programs. We’ve reported in the past how few Bay Area cities did as much as Santa Clara to help its residents.

In addition, Gillmor will recognize community leaders and local businesses as “COVID-19 heroes” for their efforts to help Santa Clara during the pandemic. 

The Mayor and Councilmembers will present seven Hero Awards: one from each Council district and a Citywide award.

The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Santa Clara Scouts Troops #394 and #2394.
