Santa Clara City Council Preview: Potential Revenue and Tax Measures for 2022 Ballot; Loyalton Ranch & More

Tomorrow’s Santa Clara City Council agenda includes a lot of items, including some deferred from prior meetings. Due to insanely long meetings with lots of talking, this new Council can’t seem to finish its business in a timely manner. 

Here are some key items:

  • Proclaim November 2021 as Sikh Awareness and Acceptance Month
  • Proclaim Family Court Awareness Month
  • Verbal Report from City Manager regarding COVID-19 Pandemic
  • Verbal Report Update from City Manager Regarding the Local Drought Emergency
  • Study session on Business Tax Ballot Measure and Other Potential Revenue Measures for November 2022 Ballot (Deferred from October 19, 2021)
  • Discussion and Possible Direction on Consideration of the Sale of the Loyalton Ranch Property
  • Informational Report Regarding an Amendment to the Santa Clara Police Department’s Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Policy
