It’ll be a busy weekend in the Mission City.

Tonight is our official Tree Lighting ceremony at Central Park starting at 5 pm.

Here’s the program:

Santa Clara University (SCU) is the host site for the 2021 NCAA Women’s College Cup Soccer Tournament.

Tonight, at Stevens Stadium-Buck Shaw Field, Florida State will play Rutgers at 4 p.m. Shortly after the finish of that game, Brigham Young University will play SCU, the defending national champions.

Last year, SCU beat Florida State. They played to a 1-1 tie in regulation (including double overtime). The Broncos won 4-1 on penalty kicks over the Seminoles. 

The winners will compete on Sunday, December 5 at 5 p.m. or Monday, December 6 at 5 p.m. at Stevens Stadium-Buck Shaw Field.  The day will depend on the guidelines for the winning teams of the semifinal games.
