Silicon Valley Power (SVP) has created an online Marketplace where Santa Clarans can shop for energy-saving devices like smart thermostats, lighting and electric vehicle chargers.

Electric yard care equipment rebates are now available through the Marketplace.

SVP customers get an instant rebate up to 25 percent off the purchase price on:

• Electric leaf blowers
• Electric lawnmowers
• Electric hedge trimmers
• Electric string trimmers
• Electric chain saws

Incentives for income-qualified customers are even higher.

Shipping is free for orders of $50 or more and just $5 for all other orders.

According to SVP staff, prices in the Marketplace are comparable to other retail outlets. Special promotions and rebates are available periodically throughout the year.
