Throughout the summer on Fridays, the Santa Clara Cultural Commission sponsors free concerts for Mission City residents.
Tomorrow, the band Arena will provide musical entertainment for listening and dancing at the Central Park Pavilion starting at 6:30 p.m.
Residents are asked to bring a picnic dinner, blankets, and chairs. Food will be available on site for purchase.
Last Friday, the series kicked off with a concert at Live Oak Park featuring The Hitmen. There were a lot of people and a lot of dancing.
In attendance were Mayor Lisa Gillmor and Councilmember Kathy Watanabe.
Here’s a photo of them posing with Cultural Commission members Siddarth Sundaram, Debra von Huene and Candida Diaz(Chair).

Future events will be on August 12 featuring Megatones and October 7 featuring Latin Heat.
For more information, including sponsorship opportunities, here’s the City’s website for the series.

Thanks for sharing a picture of our Santa Clara City Council member, and our Mayor.
Hope we can get some new people to join you real soon.
You have a lot of other Santa Clara residents who want to help as well…hang in there.
