Kifer Senior Apartments, a new affordable housing development for seniors 55 and older, is coming to Santa Clara.
The development, located at 3333 Kifer Road, will create 80 residential units, including a mix of studios, one, and two-bedroom units.

All units will be income restricted for use by households at income tiers between 20-60 percent of area median income (AMI).

46 units are set aside for households experiencing homelessness and are referred through the County of Santa Clara Coordinated Entry System (CES). To get on the County’s list, contact 211.
8 units are set aside for households who are Veterans and are referred from Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH).
One unit is set aside for an on-site manager.
25 units are available via application and lottery.
The City of Santa Clara local preference policy will be applied to these units, giving preference for households who live and work within the City of Santa Clara city limits.
Kifer Senior Apartments will provide a safe and affordable place to live for seniors in Santa Clara. The development will also offer on-site services and amenities, such as a community room, laundry facilities, and a computer lab.
Construction on Kifer Senior Apartments is expected to begin in early 2024 and be completed in late 2025.
