By Robert Haugh

Tuesday’s Santa Clara City Council meeting features the long-awaited report on the George F. Haines International Swim Center (ISC) status.

Let’s hope the report outlines what can be done and provides a good strategy to restore the ISC quickly for the sake of our community. It should be a lengthy discussion.

Other than the ISC item, It’s a quiet agenda.

Here are other agenda items:

  • Joint dinner meeting with the City Council and the Planning Commission
  • Action on a Proposed 10-Year Extension to the Stadium Naming Rights agreement with Levi Strauss & Co., a Related Implementation Agreement with Forty Niners SC Stadium Company LLC (StadCo), and Delegation of Authority to the City Manager to Implement a Charitable Grants Agreement
  • Commendation for the Association of Indo Americans
  • Consent calendar: Action on the Amendments to Council Policy 007 constituent complaints addressed to Council as recommended by the Governance and Ethics Committee
