Jalen Williams is making history. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder guard has become the first Santa Clara University (SCU) product to reach the NBA Finals since Kurt Rambis played for the great Lakers team in 1980s. His father Mike Rambis, taught trigonometry at Wilcox High School.

Williams blazes a trail no Bronco has traveled in decades. His Finals appearance marks a milestone moment for the SCU basketball program.

The Thunder star joins elite company. He becomes only the second SCU graduate to make an All-NBA Team, following in Steve Nash‘s legendary footsteps.  Nash was all NBA from 2005-2007.

The Thunder’s Finals appearance caps Williams’ remarkable rise. From Broncos red and white to Thunder blue, he’s carried SCU’s legacy to basketball’s grandest stage.

Williams could become the first SCU graduate to capture an NBA title in the modern era.
