Tonight (Monday, June 16), the Santa Clara City Council will hold a special meeting to make appointments to two City commissions.
The Council will appoint one individual to the Historical and Landmarks Commission for a full term ending June 30, 2029.
There are three applicants:
- Vamsi Gunda (also applied to Parks & Recreation Commission)
- Janet Martin
- Kaushal Varshney (also applied to Parks & Recreation Commission)
The Council will appoint one individual to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a full term ending June 30, 2029.
There are eight applicants:
- Anarug Dixit
- Vamsi Gunda (also applied to Historical and Landmarks Commission)
- Monique Hovery-Coate
- David M. Kertes (currently serves on the Salary Setting Commission)
- Daniel L. Little
- Edward A. Souza
- Aseem Vaid
- Kaushal Varshney (also applied to Historical and Landmarks Commission)
