BREAKING:  Santa Clara Police Investigating City Councilmember Kevin Park

By Robert Haugh

The Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) has confirmed that Santa Clara City Councilmember Kevin Park is currently under investigation for violating a court order.

“On 11/21/2025, at approximately 0908 hours, the Santa Clara Police Department became aware of an allegation of a court order violation involving Kevin Park. This is an open and active investigation,” wrote Lieutenant Eric Lagergren in an email to Santa Clara News Online.

SCPD did not provide details about the nature of Park’s potential violation.

Park has been controversial since he took office in 2021.

He’s had at least three domestic disturbance calls to his home since 2017.

Park successfully suppressed press reports in the Silicon Valley Voice/Santa Clara Weekly about one of the calls during his 2020 campaign.

Park was accused of attempted burglary in an incident at his neighbor’s home in December 2022.

He’s also had financial difficulties and, until recently, did not pay his property taxes for years.

Park did not respond to a request for comment yesterday.

This is a developing story.

  1. James Rowen,
Thank you for that. I can think of no one that I haven’t disagreed with at one time or another, including Debi. But I cherish Debi’s friendship and her memory.

    • Again and again, the community spirit of the Mission City is torn by the antics of three adult children. PARK, Jain, and Becker.

Becker decides to verbally assault and harass petition gatherers. Yes, it is a probation infraction and it was shared.

He is not subject of the recall. So why get nasty? Park attacks Vartan. DUMB.

IF WE HAD A CITY HISTORIAN OFF THE BOOKS, WHY NOT A VOLUNTEER LIKE Kirk?

Jain initiates 67 secret meetings. Why?

He claims tens of thousands of dollars spent by cpras.

What account, what date, what expenditure?

Jain and Becker text each other about the clothes Kathy and Lisa wear.

I think both look nice (I seem these days to resemble Yoda), but their choice of clothing is none of my business.

They wear nice clothes, I mangle sweat pants. But I really don’t care about their choices. No one should.

Jain and Becker launch a blog campaign attacking Haggag. They claim he does not reside.

      Stupid.
I have known Hosam for ten years. Been an opponent of him
But Hossam lives in Santa Clara.

It was a racist attack against a guy who really harms no one.

What jobs have the three created?

      None.

      Parks, libraries?

      None

Lisa created several as did Kathy

Sure I have some unanswered issues with Mr Haugh and others. I think my nephew was promised participation in WrestleMania and Matthews screwed that up.

I think Lisa has made mistakes.

But in a 30 year record with a 95% success rating, a few mistakes is ok

Becker writes a 76 page accusatory brief dismissed by the fpppc about soccer parents?

      Stalking a postman.
      Jain calls Haugh’s readers stupid.

But Suds is Haugh’s most dedicated reader.

He knows what is wrong with every article
To think Aquinas and Montesquieeu and Rousseau devoted their lived to write philosophy only to have their beliefs stained by three puppets of pomposity.

  2. The 49ers had an agenda. NO LISA. JAIN, Park, Becker were useless store dummies. But if they voted NO LISa, that was the deal. Read the Jain and Caserta texts in 2020, the platform was simple. Ok
Kathy, Teresa, we’re never that irresponsible.
NEVER. I had some issues of disagreement, but even tha late Debbie Davis (God rest her soul,)
was never this bad. I defended Pattie Mahan many times, but sadly she just did not see it.
At the end of the day, Becker, Jain. Park have had the character of spoiled fruit.

Since 2016, Lisa has had to shoulder the leadership.

    Not fun.

But despite any disagreements I have had with her, she cares about the people, from Agate to Tasman, Pomeroy to Allison.

    • As a good friend and long time supporter of Debi Davis, I believe your comment does her a disservice. “… but even tha(sic) late Debbie Davis (God rest her soul,)
was never this bad.” You have a right to say it, I have a right to disagree. If you want to go into details, let’s take it off line. Thanks

    • Mr Myers

I respect your friendship for Ms Davis.
She did make the community better.
I apologize if you regarded my comments as negative.

I helped Debi get elected in 2010.

What is clear is that in the 55 years I had a role in elections in Santa Clara, no one is as useless and as incompetent as Jain, Becker, and Park

Their political careers are as shiny as rotting mackrel.

Debi and I had disagreements which I regret.

      She did honor the people.

  3. By the actions Park,,Jain and Becker along with Chahal and Hardy they act as if they are above the law. So that arrogance and hubris comes out in the form of violating a court order. Hmm. What kind of court order?

  4. People let’s not forget that there’s a wife and child at risk here. Kevin has issues. Hope the SCPD and Police Chief Morgan take this very very very seriously.

  5. Waiting for Mary and other of Kevin’s friends to attack Robert for writing about this. It’s a good story. Keep up the good reports. Kevin is on the council. Taxpayers have a right to know about him. He’s a decision maker with our dollars. We have right to know if he’s honest.

  6. So, we see the Terrible Trio back in action.

    Becker harassing senior citizens.
    Park being Park
    Jain delaying cpras for weeks

  7. It’s important to keep in mind, innocent until proven guilty, but yes, the niners do seem to be lacking in their selection criteria. Maybe it’s because they are used to hiring football players w/o a background check. A quick search found: “Since 2012, the San Francisco 49ers have had 17 players arrested, the highest number for any NFL team during that period. Notable incidents include multiple arrests for Aldon Smith and Reuben Foster, with charges ranging from DUI to domestic violence.”
Maybe, just maybe, they shouldn’t be selecting our council members.

  8. This story is kind of sad, but in a weird way kind of humorous.
In reality, could the 49ers have pick any worse candidates to represent their best interest?
In short the 49er5 is a local “Hall of Fame” for failures in Life.
Go Niners…. Really please just go….
