Tomorrow’s Council meeting is the first one back after the summer break. Welcome back to the City Council and City staff. Now it’s time to get to work. Here’s what’s on the agenda for the meeting:

• There is a Joint Study Session with the Planning Commission on the Zoning Code, New Districts, Simplified Processes, Single-Family District Standards and Placemaking.

• Council will review a response to the June 2019 Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury Report about Governance of VTA. This should be interesting. The Grand Jury reported that the VTA was one of the worst, if not the worst, transit agencies in the nation!         

• In closed session, there’s a “Conference with Legal Counsel” regarding the 49ers’ lawsuit against the City. There is a request for a Demand for Arbitration.  We’ll look into this more.
