The Good — The Leg Drop Award:

Silicon Valley Power (SVP) is now a Smart Energy Provider (SEP) designation. That means SVP is part of a prestigious group of public power utilities nationwide. Almost as prestigious, they win the Leg Drop Award this week for keeping our rates low and energy reliable in the Mission City.

The Bad — The Jabroni Award:

For the Board of Supervisors redistricting effort, a map was drawn and presented by local labor interests. It was publicly criticized for being politically manipulated to remove current District 1 candidates from an election in 2022.
