Santa Clara University selected a “double first” for its new president. Dr. Julie Sullivan is the first woman and first non-Jesuit to lead the campus.

The Bad — The Jabroni Award:

The Santa Clara City Council’s Annual Priority Setting Meeting on Tuesday was canceled because the 49er Four fired City Manager Deanna Santana without a plan on what to do next. It’s going to be an interesting year at City Hall.
