Happy 4th of July — Some Red, White & Blue Fun

Happy Independence Day. We hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July Holiday with family and friends. 

Here’s a few ways to celebrate locally:

  • City of Santa Clara 4th of July All-City Picnic at Central Park, 12 to 5 p.m. 12-5 p.m. Event includes kids games, delicious food and live entertainment plus swimming at the International Swim Center from 12-4:30 p.m. entertainment will include Santa Clara Elite & Performance Dance Teams, Cocktail Monkeys and Pop Rocks. Food trucks include Akita Sushi, BBQ Kalbi, Curiel Kettle Corn, Kona–Ice and La Burbuja.
  • Great America fireworks (editor’s note: the fireworks are at park closing at 9 p.m., not 9:45 as the graphic included says)
  • SF Symphony and fireworks at Shoreline Amphitheatre
  • Cupertino 4th and Fireworks
  • Redwood City parade and fireworks
