Best and Worst of the Week in Santa Clara: SCU’s Jalen Williams and Cedar Fair’s Great America

By Robert Haugh

The Good — The Leg Drop Award:

Santa Clara University forward Jalen Williams became the first Bronco drafted in the NBA Draft since Bronco Hall of Famer and NBA All-Star Steve Nash in 1996. Kudos to him and the basketball program.

The Bad — The Jabroni Award:

Cedar Fair announces its plan to close Great America and sell the land to Prologis, a San Francisco-based real estate company. It won’t happen right away. But it will happen within 11 years.
