Santa Clara Part of Bike to Wherever Days 2023 Challenge This Week

By Robert Haugh

May is National Bike Month and the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) is celebrating with the Bay Area Bike to Wherever Days 2023 from Thursday, May 18 to Saturday, May 20.

On Bike to Wherever Days, the City staff will set up an Energizer Station to offer items to bicycling participants like a 25 percent discount at Sports Basement.

The location is the Santa Clara Senior Center’s Harrison St parking lot, between Madison and Jefferson Street.

Here’s a link to a map of more locations in other cities.

SVBC invites cities across San Mateo and Santa Clara counties to a friendly competition called the Silicon Valley Pedal Power Challenge that urges cities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties to compete to get the largest number of “pledges to ride.”

You can support the Mission City by signing up here.
