Beyonce will perform tonight in Santa Clara and she’ll do it with a “Key to the City” and an “Honorary Mayor” title.
Last night, the City Council made it official.
Dr. Yvette Noel-Schure, a publicist and longtime advisor to Beyonce, showed up to accept the honors from Mayor Lisa Gillmor on Beyonce’s behalf.
Councilmember Kevin Park decided to dress up for the occasion.
Last month, Santa Clara honored Taylor Swift when she brought her Eras Tour to our city on July 28 and 29.
Swift was also “Honorary Mayor” and the Mission City was called “Swiftie Clara” for those two days.
Beyoncé is NOT that great as she proved in her performance in Santa Clara. She gets hyped but she really should not be.
I hope Luke Combs gets the same treatment from our esteemed city council when he puts on his 2 shows in May 2024
