Rep. Ro Khanna will introduce the National Worker Cooperative Development and Support Act at A Slice of New York.

This is a first-of-its-kind bill focused on worker cooperatives to promote and expand worker-owned cooperative businesses (worker co-ops) in the Bay Area and throughout the U.S.

A press event will be held Monday, March 18 at A Slice of New York at 3443 Stevens Creek Blvd., San Jose 95117 at 3 p.m.

There will be snacks. 

Worker-owners, co-op professionals, local elected leaders and Khanna will speak about the bill and share stories.
