The Rolling Stones return to Santa Clara on Wednesday, July 17th and heavy traffic congestion is expected around the stadium throughout the day and evening. 

Expect significant delays on Highways 101, 237, 880, Lawrence Expressway, Great America Parkway and San Tomas Expressway. Traffic will likely be heavy throughout the day and could linger for several hours after the concert ends.

The curfew is now 11 p.m. It was changed from the original 10 p.m. weekday curfew by the 49er Five who made the the change in 2021 at the team’s request.

The Santa Clara Police Department will have personnel deployed throughout the area to ensure public safety. If you witness suspicious activity or have a non-emergency concern, report it directly to the Santa Clara Police Department by calling their non-emergency, stadium-related line at (408) 615-2280. 

Tasman Drive will be completely closed from Convention Center Circle to Centennial/Marie P DeBartolo Way starting at 9:30 a.m. on July 17th. This closure will remain in effect until the concert ends. Plan alternate routes well in advance if you live or travel in this area.

California’s Great America theme park will also be open on July 17th, adding to the overall traffic volume in the area. Be prepared for additional congestion, especially near the intersection of Highway 101 and Great America Parkway.

Residents who live near Levi’s Stadium should plan alternative routes to avoid heavy traffic congestion.

The San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail will be closed to through-traffic at Agnew Road starting at approximately 2 p.m. on July 17th. However, ticketed pedestrians and cyclists attending the concert will be allowed access to the stadium from the trail starting at 3 p.m. Non-ticketed cyclists and pedestrians will be rerouted. Signage will be posted to guide them on alternative routes.
