Santa Clara residents will have a chance tonight to comment on a proposed development at 2075 De La Cruz Blvd., that would allow a place of worship at the site.
The proposal, submitted on behalf of Silicon Valley Gurdwara, seeks a General Plan Amendment and rezoning for the property.
The requested change would move the site from Light Industrial to Community Commercial.
The purpose is to establish the SVG Sikh Center as a place of worship. According to the city, uses proposed under the building permit would remain.
City staff will attend the meeting to receive public feedback.
The community meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Residents can attend in person at the Silicon Valley Central Chamber of Commerce, 3350 Scott Blvd., Building 54.
The meeting will also be available online through Zoom. The webinar ID is 898 1977 1040.
The project contact is Sukhjit Singh at tony@continentaldc.com or 702-287-0347. The city contact is Tracy Tam, Associate Planner, at ttam@santaclaraca.gov or 408-615-2432.
