Authorities have identified the two men found dead after a shooting and house fire last week on Enright Avenue in Santa Clara.
The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner identified the victims as Mark Heflin, 52, of Santa Clara and Matthew Heflin, 49, of Bloomington, IN.
The Santa Clara Police Department has not specified the relationship between the two men. Santa Clara News Online sources in the neighborhood say that the two were brothers that were quarreling over a family estate of their late father.
Mark Heflin died of multiple gunshot wounds. A cause of death for Matthew Heflin has not yet been listed, according to media reports.
The deaths stem from a violent incident on Friday afternoon on the 600 block of Enright Avenue. Many reported hearing as many as 13 gunshots. The home that was engulfed in the fire was reported to be an AirBnB rental.

Santa Clara police responded around 12:30 p.m. to a reported shooting and found a man shot in front of a home. He died at the scene.
Officers also discovered a nearby house on fire. Police later found a second body in the rear of the burned home.
Authorities have not said which victim was found outside the home and which was found inside the burned residence.
Police have described the incident as a targeted attack and said there is no ongoing threat to the public. The motive remains under investigation.
