Tomorrow’s Stadium Authority meeting will see an update on a major stadium issue.

Notice of Breach of Management Agreement

The Stadium Authority Board will receive an update on the On April 21, 2019 Notice of Breach of Management Agreement. At the time of the staff report, the Stadium Manager has not cured the breach.  Here’s what the staff report says:

“The Stadium Manager was not in attendance at the March 27 Board meeting, and as of April 22, has not responded fully to the Board’s direction to provide copies of all contracts since the opening of the stadium in 2014 led under the delegated procurement authority under the code and in the agreement as well as all contracts that the Stadium Manager as entered into for non-NFL events for both ticketed and non-ticketed events by April 12.”

Wow. The 49ers didn’t attend the last meeting. Maybe they’ll show up on Tuesday.

• Santa Clara’s Relay for Life was held this past weekend at Townsend Field at Buchser Middle School. The official Santa Clara City team was called “Mission City Possible.”
